Post-Friendster Day Sharing..!!

Friendster day was FUN...! THANK YOU! to everyone who has helped out..!!

But sadly....

I had no time to share wat i wanted to say cuz of time constraints...

Soo.....

I will share here in this blog since i couldnt share at MYF...!!!

The title of my sharing is:

Who's Ur Best Friend..??

So? Who's your best fren?

Mei Zhi? Mel? May? Wee Kiat? Leslie? Sarah? Me?

Well.. If your best friend is a human being...

You'll be disappointed to know that friends can disappoint us..

Why?

As we all know, we are humans.. And humans makes mistakes.. And sometimes when people depends on us, we sometimes tend to make them feel disappointed because although we can be a really reliable person, we cant be reliable all the time..

Let me give u a situation as an example yaaa..

I am really close to my sister Sarah..

Run to her when i have probs..

She's my best friend..

But then...

My sister started to drift away from me,

she started to have another best friend edi..

She now has Alvin as her best fren...!

And then when i needed her friendship in my most desperate moments for a friend,

she wasnt there for me..!

So sad right?? haha..

Although the example i've given is actually a kinda a ridiculous example, the bottom line is this:

I'm not trying to say that from now onwards you dont have any friends anymore..

But I'm just trying to say that the bestest friend a person can have is not a human,

It's JESUS...!!!!!!!!!!!

JESUS?? How Can He Be My Best Friend??

Simple!

Give your life to Jesus, and He'll be ur best friend!!

A friend that can be depended 100%,

anytime, anywhere, anyhow!!

Take at look at this verse:

Deuteronomy 31:6
6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

You see the words? NEVER leave you and NEVER forsake you!!

Not: maybe He wont leave u nor forsake you...!

It is NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU U KNOW..!!!

So, if ur best friend isnt Jesus, i wanna intro to you now Jesus!

Ask Him to be ur best friend today!

Once You got to know Him,

I guarantee that You'll NEVER REGRET HAVIN JESUS AS UR BEZ FREN!!

YOU NEVER TRY, U'LL NEVER KNOW!

Heyo.. Everyone!!

How's your day? *grins*

First, I'm feeling guilty now...becos i couldn't get any of my friend to come for tomorrow's 'friendster day'. Well, although, they are young adults have car and such, but still they couldn make it.. I'm sorry fellows! But i do pray that tomorrow will still be a fun day.... (we prepared quite alot of stuffs)

Anyway, although i couldn grab my friends to come,.. I did some evangelism with one of my friends that I invited. Well, I'm happy that God is there to guide me on what to say..

I was shocked to hear my friend was attending church lately... I never know about that the day i know him... and now...he's into God! 'Rejoice in the name of the Lord'

I was inviting him to come and was telling about what's up on tomorrow's plan, suddenly he ask me to share some testimony about God and why I have faith in Him... Ofcos, when i get the chance like this, i would loveeee explaining everything.. And then he asked about the 'trinity'... It was not easy for me talking to him, as i have not study the bible thoroughly...and i'm just telling him according to my own understanding... *Praise God* He led me thru everything.... *phew*

'Jesus left that place and went to the vicinity of Tyre. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it; yet he could not keep his presence secret'. (Mark 7:24)

Jesus is everywhere in our presence.. and you'll know it when He's here.

My friend was suppose to attend church today... But he 'ponteng lah'.. The wonders is that, although he misses the church service, yet God was there to speak to him.. (it happens to us most of the time rite? ) God spoke to us in many different ways...and most importantly, he never fail to speak to us.

' The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance of his tent in the heat of the day. Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. ' ( Genesis 18:1-2)

God knows everything in our hearts even before we tell him. My friends suddenly asked me about the 'trinity' and he told me that he has been wondering about this a long time ago after i have shared what i understand..

' And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him ' (Matthew 6: 7-8)

And thats all that happen to me...in just 30mins! Sharing doesn need to be that long, as long as u let the spirit guide you.. Although, i totally have the least understanding on the bible ... and am still knowing about God more.. But if u let the spirit leads you...

' do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say ' ( Luke 12: 12)

Jesus is coming sooner that we thought, and many people out there does not know about God or ignoring the presence of the Lord... We as christians are warriors/ soldiers of God to save as many people as we could...

" No ones lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead he puts it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light ". (Luke 11:33)

The light is our body in christ.. And when we have Christ, we should shine with Jesus and let everyone see how beautiful the light Jesus has given to us..

So what are you waiting for? Never be afraid to share about God whether they like it or not.. whether they think that you're annoying... whether they think you're uninteresting... or whether they think differently.... One day, they'll come to know about it.. And when they do, you can see that God is making miracles in them.

I've heard before, evangelism is like planting a small little seed on the ground.. When you put it in the soil, it might seems to be nothing at all. The small little seed cant even catch your eye.. But plants needs water and sunshine.. Praying everyday and talking to God, is like showering your seed and making it grow... It might take a while to grow - patience is the key. And one day, when you return to see it, the seed has turn into a beautiful flower blooming like you've never seen before..

( well, I forgot where i heard this from, either is from the bible... or that someone told me that) But anyway, i did get to my point..

Jesus wants us to be with Him...and the Father. And He wants us to know about Him, and when He comes, He can take us home.. our beautiful home far beyond anything, prepared by Him.

" I have longed to gather your children together " ( Luke 13: 34)

" Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord "

Valentines Day, is all about love, love and lovee... We remembered our companions, those we loved very much... and we tend to celebrate the day in the most meaningful way...

Well, lets just hope that we don't forget about how God loved us sooo much tooo... And did we celebrate with him..?

Anyway, God only knows how much you loved him ...

Food...food...food and more FOOD!!!

Hey fellows bros and sis,

As i was reading the chatbox, one of our fellow friends (simpledegree) has suggested that maybe we could share some simple ingredients to cook during the festive season...CNY or V-Day

Well since now is CNY, im sure everyone has been eating quite a lot.. *muahaha*... So, it seems to be like an eating season huh..? *grins*

Well, is pretty much early now...and im actually waiting off to go for CNY lunch..so let me post something laaa~

Dish no1 : Chicken Alfredo Pasta (May's super favourite)

(perfect for valentine's day...and any other day laaaa) I'm sure now u all lazy to cook la rite?? *hehe* Nvm, can 'bookmark' this page..(heehe)

Ingredients are: *thinking*

One bottle of ready made Alfredo sauce,

pasta of any kind u like,

button mushroom,

mince chicken,

mozarella cheese,

garlic, and small onions (there's a word for it..but i forgot what was it)

All according to how much u wanna eat.. so measure yourself!

How to cook?

*pretty simple* First get a big huge pot and boil the water, add some cooking oil to it (use veg oil, healthier for ur body), add some salt and bring to boil ur choice of pasta.. After the pasta is cooked...leave it aside and add some veg oil so that it wont stick together.. *remember to cover it, later got flies coming*

While waiting for the pasta to boil cut ur mince meat, button mushroom, garlic and onions into small pieces. Then take pan, and add oil (make sure u let the oil to heat up first).... throw in some garlic and onions, then throw in ur mince meat (wash thoroughly before u cook) and bring to cook...cook..cook..and then throw in ur button mushroom, cook for while then take it out and leave it aside on a plate ...

Now, ur pasta shud be ready by then... Continue using the pan... with small flame, add some oil.. prepare a small amount of water.. Throw in cooked pasta, then throw in ur meat and mushroom... cook them together..add some salt (according to ur taste).. and then ADD the already made ALFREDO SAUCE.. add as much as u like according to ur taste... (usually May use the whole bottle *grins*) Add abit of water, if its too dry.. Then bring to cook... and is almost done.. add some mozarella cheese while its still hot.. and THAT'S IT, ure ready to serve... yay..

Note: Usually if u use the whole pack of pasta, and whole bottle of sauce, you could serve about 6 servings.. Whoa, thats alot rite? Nvm, we could all share, bring some to MYF too~

The next one is perfect for those people who havent think of anything to give your BF's/GF's/BFF's for valentines.. here's one that could help you...*smile*

Dish2: Mini Oreo Surprise Cupcake (havent try b4)

The ingredients:

1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
1 (8 ounce) package PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 egg
2 tablespoons sugar
48 Mini OREO Bite Size Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
1 1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

How to cook?

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare cake batter as directed on package; set aside. Mix cream cheese, egg and sugar until well blended.
Spoon cake batter into each of 24 paper- or foil-lined medium muffin cups, filling each cup about half full. Top each with about 1/2 Tbsp. of the cream cheese mixture and 1 cookie. Cover evenly with remaining cake batter.
Bake 19 to 22 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 min.; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely. (There may be an indentation in top of cupcake after baking.) Top cupcakes with whipped topping and remaining cookies just before serving.
Yield: 24 servings

Ummmph... sounds sooo nice edy !!! Oreo Cookies...another May's super favourite... yummmmmmy.. Dun 4get to give me someeee... *grins*

Additional dish: How to know God?

First, add knowlegde about Jesus..read the bible, write some notes done while reading. Then attend church often and listen to the preching.. Share some stuff with other fellow mates.. Attend MYF! *grins* and then most important PRAY, PRAY and PRAY (praying means communicating with God)

Happy Chinese New Year Everyone..

Is the festive season...and i guess most of you are going back to hometown..visiting ur never-seen-for-so-long relatives... so fun *winkwink* Can already imagine all the big 'red packets' coming in... and playing with ur little cousins (if u have any).. Anyway, for those whose not going back hometown or u're from the ''lovely".. KL state.. Well dun worry, we have something for you..this Saturday.. *yay myf fellowship time* (details are TBA)

The reason of this post, other than wishing everyone save journey 'balik kampung..' and also 'gong xi fa cai' .. is that, just to remind u guys.. dun forget to bring ur bible along!!! (Well u never know that you might have chance to share some gospel *grins*)

Anyway, seeing our relatives back at home..is fun.. Especially meeting all the aunties, uncles, 1st cousin, 2nd cousin, 3rd cousin, friends ... and so on... Sooooo many ppl, that you might have a chance to share something about GOD!

We thought that, we as a MYF rarely takes time to visit our dudes' houses.. So we're takin this as an opportunity to do visiting..!! Yay.. hehe..

Sharing a testimonial about God

Hey fellows bros and sis!

Last Sunday, as usual we have our myf meeting. (sorry for the delay updates fellows).

What we did on Sunday?

As usual, we begin with games.. Just playing some acting games and standing on the chair. It was a last minute make up idea... But still it was much fun *wink*

After that we have our praise and worship...

And then, well come to the point of the day.. ' Sharing a testimony about God '. So, let me ask u.. Do u have a way to share testimony about God with your friends? How do u talk about being a Christian, and what did God has done for you? And why are u a Christian?

Alot of times, with our friends.. we're often being thrown into these questions... How are we going to answer them..? Have you prepared it? Well, Jeremy was the coordinator of the day, and he come up with some ways that was shared by pastor some time ago..

First, we talked about our life before knowing God, then we shared how we met God, and what God has done in our life.. Lastly what we hoped for being a Christian..? (all could be shared in 3 minutes)

All of us, (the youths) were given pencils and papers to write our own testimony.. and were given 5 minutes .. Ofcos, we always take longer time.. After that some of us shared about God ...

Today the myf'ers had a great early morning badminton fellowship time with the youth from Sg.Buloh church *yay*. What a great excercise early in the morning! Anyway it was fun though...everyone 'sweat' like crazy.. Well mostly the guys laa~ *ewww*

We also met other fellow humans (bros and sis) from other churches ... thats gud rite!! *smile*

You can come join the Sunday ones.. *yay* But before you go, pls do inform one of us..so we could tell the adults to booked extra court just incase we have too many people going... *smile*

Suddenly felt soo emo when i was tuning into this song.. Prolly cos pastor was sharing about something similar about it during the God seeker's meeting today.

About trusting and believing God!

As a youth, or a teenager.. we always tend to struggle in alot of stuffs..(well, thats basically part of *growing up*) Whether we are born christian family or not.. we still faced alot of problems. Sometimes..things dun work out our way..and we start to complain alot. Pastor says we can ask God ' what are u doing ar..?' (in a curious way.. NOT in an angry mood la)

Anyway..what i'm about to say is that... the song really expresses what and how we shud think and do when we faced problems (e.g. peer pressure, fustration, stress, exams, friends, relationship, family, and etc etc)..

Believe in God, and He will make a way..

Again my favourite verse of all time.. " Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and he will set your paths straight "

God will make a way

Where there seems to be no way

He works in ways we cannot see He will make a way for me
