so other's may live...

i was browsing thru old news yesterday for some college stuff i needed to get done. i came to this topic about the 'lepak' culture. i've long forgotten that there still exist such culture among the young people. i still remember in high school essays where i have to write about this problem in my BM classes. as i read thru the news clippings, i find it somewhat depressing to hear about these young people of our age. they have no goals in life, no mission.. and somewhat no reason to live for.. they have nothing much to do at home, or in school. they're not involved in any healthy activities except for football till late nights, smoked in streets, loiterring around and worst still vandalizing public property and even committing juvenille crimes.

as i go on reading, they start blaming on parents spending too little time for them and teachers not educating them and the society for discriminating them and not giving oppurtunities to them. as a information, we pay gov taxes to build education resources and schools.. We're not judging them.. and i am not here to judge. but we as people who are more well equipped should be helping them.. But what can we do??? I thought of how could i help these people.. In the end, i couldn figure out, because only Jesus could save them.. So the urge for praying for them came into my mind before i go to bed..

Jesus is our life, our goal and our mission. We live for Him every single day. If we do not have Jesus, then it makes us no difference from the 'lepak' groups. We aim at Jesus; to serve Him and to glorify Him. And now as children of God, we live to be His salt and light so that they world may see the good deeds of our Father.

i wonder where all those activist go? saving monkeys, pandas and bears? Are these people not worth saving than animals? Human lives worth a thousand more than animals. we do so many things to keep the earth clean, and animals from extinction but neglected the importance of human lives.

"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than birds?" (Matthew 6:26)

Jesus die for all our sins.. See how important we are!! and not just 'we' but every single human on this earth are important to Jesus.. because he died for ALL! "You were bought at a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit". (1Cor 6:20)

So, start praying for these young people who are not as fortunate as we are.. start praying for them so that they might see Jesus in their hearts and in their minds. pray for them that they would take Jesus as their teacher and guidance... pray that they would accept Jesus as their saviour regardless of their religions, race and status; these people need help from Jesus!

The Human Giant and the Little Birds

This post is an update on Uncle James sharing about a short simple story.

Is meaningful and now i would wanna keep a record of the story to remind us all.

(changes are made in the conversation to make it interesting)

One day, a man saw a flocked of birds wandering around in is field looking for food to eat. The man then went to grab some bird food so that he could feed the hungry birds. He tooked a bucket of bird food and then walk towards the birds. But when he was walking towards it, the flock of birds flew away aggressively as because they were very afraid of him. Then man then wondered why the birds fly away even with the intention of feeding them. So the man think what can i do so that i could feed the birds without frightening them. He then thought of why not i become one of them, so they wont fly away when he walk to them.

message: God is like the human giant man... and we are the flock of birds. We are afraid of Him because we don't know Him. Even when His intention was to help us, we didn know, because we don't know and He's too big for us. But actually God is not scary and he's very loving like the man. What God did was He became a man, like one of us. He sent His one and only son, Jesus to lead us and guide us; to feed us.

If you're not a christian yet, then learn about God. If you are, then tell all your friends about God so that the others may know. and Be Saved!

Let now the weak

say I have strength

By the Spirit of power

that raised Christ from the dead

Let now the poor

stand and confess

Oh my portion is in Him

and I'm more than blessed

Let now our hearts burn with a flame

A fire consuming all for Your Son's holy Name

And with the heavens we declare

You are our King

We love You Lord,

we worship You

You are our God,

You alone are good

You asked Your Son

to carry this

The heavy cross,

our weight of sin

I love You Lord,

I worship You

Hope which was lost,

now stands renewed

I give my life

to honor this

The love of Christ,

the Saviour King

Let now Your church shine as the bride

That You saw in Your heart

as You offered up Your life

Let now the lost be welcomed home

By the saved and redeemed

Live as a child of God

Every year, we have 365 days, each month compile of 30 to 31 days, each week of 7 wonderful days, and each day of 24 hours. Now let me ask you.. How many days in a year we spent with God? How many days in a month we spend with God? How many days in a week we spent with God? And lastly, how many hours in a day we spent with God?
I came across sermons talking about weekend-christians who only come to church on Sunday. I've heard some speak of God but live in wordly demands. I've also came across Christians who act 'clean' but yet hiding so many things behind. One thing, we're not sure whether some christians are like these. We don't judge others. But if there is, then as a christian with God, we shud start praying; pray, pray and pray for these people will one day realise what they are doing.
God is everywhere. Everday year in 365 days, each month 31 days, each week of 7 days and each day 24 hours. Gosh!!! Now we know God really are working hard on us. So don't depress him by ignoring him. How would you feel if you work so hard and your parents don't realise it? Appreciate the every moment of presence with God. God is omnipresent.
So please don't waste your time by doing things that are not with God. Tell your friends about that. Everyday is a gift from God. Is a gift that you can see the sunrise and sunset of each day. Is a gift that you could be savely going and coming back from school without any injuries. Is a gift that you could laugh and play with everyone. So, why waste it? God gives us plenty of time for us to repent and be saved. And you never know when your time is up.
Something from the daily bread (summarized):
A stressed out lady was tailgating a car. When it came across the traffic light, the car stop at yellow, and the lady honk like crazy at the car, cursing and screaming in furstration and angry gestures. Then she heard a tap on the window a police ordered her to get out of the car and she was brought to the holding cell. An hour later, the officer said sorry to the lady. "im sorry mam,' says police. "I noticed that your car has what would Jesus do? license plate and a "follow me" bumper sticker. so when i pulled out your car, i assumed the car was stolen"
Ok, we dont want to be like this lady. Living in a christian world with God but yet does not have God in mind. (the best bait to satan) When we (christians) make mistakes, show it and hand it over to God. If you dun have Jesus, tell Him about it. Don't go round acting you have God in mind, but actually not-really-sure about it. At least we know that God is working on you.
'Let your light shine before men that they may see the good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven' (Matthew 5:16)
God is watching us. Our friends are watching us. Our family are watching us. Satan is also watching us.
Dont' try hiding your mistakes, instead expose them so that people may see how you've changed in God's deeds. And they'll know that God really loves you and everyone too~
Live as a christian, love like a christian, and be like a christian. In another words, walk in faith with God!

Hey Bros and Sis,
