Lord Save Me!

When you cry out, Lord save me!

"Never will I leave you, Never will I forsake you" (Heb 13:5) Says, God!

Do you know that God is always there protecting you already? You don't have to cry out, he's already there doing His job to save us and protect us from the evil ones...

" Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you, your sins" (Mark 11:22-25)

Jesus was sacrificed, nailed on the cross to save us, even before we even know Him..

That shows how amazing Jesus is. Our saviour, our king, our best friend!

So, remember to love Jesus, even when we have the worst day of our life.. Just maybe say a simple hello, and He will give a huge big loving smile to you...

Just like when you havent talk to your friend for such a long time, suddenly when you say hi, your friend give a huge happy expressions...

Jesus Loves You and Me! (tell your friends about that!) No matter who you are, Jesus still loves you...

"Therefore my heart is glad and my tougue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the grave nor will you let your Holy one see decay." (psalm 16:10)

Car wash day is on the 16th of March... We need people to help out peeps. Pls do contact the prez for more information ya..

Easter is about to come.. (23rd of March) and a skecth has been prepared for that day.. *clapclap*

This Friday at 8pm will have a meeting to discuss about further plannings , youth alpha, and easter..

Youth alpha will be held on 9th of March, peeps, brings ur new peeps along too~ Its the 2nd edition of youth alpha, which means there's alot of new things to discover.. (encourage everyone, new, young and old, to come join us) Even if you're 30 and still believe you are young, pls do come too~ *welcome welcome*

Love

Love. What does love means to you?

1Corinthians 13:4-8 tells us ..

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."

This is the verse that best describe what love means! But does everyone take it as it is?

or maybe that's not what you think? Maybe you have a clearer idea about what is love?

Sometimes, many young people nowadays take 'love' differently. We christians take Love as how God tell us, but many other's don't.

They (others) can tell you all sorts of many reasonable excuses and explaination about love, but all they can do is just knowing how to talk, but never know how to love..
They loved the world so much, they did not know about the existent of God, and they take love as a material, selfish thingy..

Do you know anyone of them? If you do, i urge you to tell them what is the true meaning of love.

When we look around our peers, what saddened me most is to see them taking love as a selfish thought.. And when something goes wrong, they hated the person.

Some people, always pray God when God gave them blessings, but when God did not gave them any... they start to drift away and seek other as idols.

That is not the love that God meant. The love that God explained to us, is far more greater that everyone's thought of love..

Love is to be taken seriously... and there is no such thing as " i cant love that person anymore ".. If someone were to say that, then that person does not have the right to claim that he understands about love...

John 3:16, " for God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life "

For God so loved the 'world'.. God sacrifices his only son for the 'world'.. which means, even beggar on the streets, gangsters, politicians in the country, aggresive road bullies and everyone..

Even God can loved them and save them... How can one person says 'i cant love anymore' when is nothing compared to the person that God loved..

Love is not about ourselves, not about someone else.. But for only God alone. Because He created love and only him can tell us what it meant.. We love, because God tell us too~ Why? If we cant learn how to love one person.. how can we learn to love God?

Our time on earth is like a training ground.. Like army troops training in their base camp.

Why are we having training? Thats because God has prepared something better for us.. The more training, the better we get. And 'love' is part of the training...

Now do we get a clearer picture of what love means?

Hey fellows bros and sis...





Ya, i know it has been long since the last update. I think is about a week already. Sorry for the super long delays.





Today's pastor's preching was pretty much linked to our myf sharing. cool huh! Although they carry different sources but they do have something similar..this is what i thought la~





i didn take any pics for today's myf meeting, basically that picture thingy just slipped through my mind. *sowie*





But, bear with me if you find it "un-interesting" without pictures*





We have some new friends visiting us today. *Welcome, welcome* They're from the TRAC youth council who came to visit all the youth in many different churches.





As usual, we start of with games! *Bursting balloons* All the girls ofcos were screaming around once the balloons goes "PAK"!!! That's like an usual reflections! We here something loud we screamed! Then we played *ducky waky*.. Always loved this game, but i never got the chace to hit ppl wan~ (next time May play the hitter k!)





We continued with praise and worship led by Jeremy.. (this is always the moment that i've been waiting for).



Sarah did her first time sharing today. *clapclap* So brave of her rite? Sharing isin't easy.. but Sarah did a pretty good job though! I believe God has lead her.



Her sharing was pretty much linked to what our pastor was preaching today. (God has spoken) Although they both have different sources and but they both holds the same point; Let God in charge of you.



When we are small little baby? Our parents is our head.. When we go to school, our teachers are incharge.. When we go to college, our assignments are incharge.. But of all things, who are the one incharge of you.. (the highest authority) The answer is God..

Jesus came as the Lord's army to be incharge of us and lead us...

Alot of times, we always tend to drift away from God. We want things to work our ways but not God's way. But God's ways are way beyond what we can think.. and always it is right! Dun believe? Try it!

"For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts" (Isaiah 55:9)

So let God take in charge, i can guarantee you will "be the head and not the tail"

Sunday MYF 'Friendster Day'

Hey Bros & Sis in Christ, fellow new mates and friends!

Yeap, this is the post of what happen on Sunday MYF 'Friendster Day'.. ( I know itz, kinda delay) Sorry to keep you people waiting for so long..

Eager to know what happen? *grins* Will let you know in a bit..

"When two or three are gather together in His name, there is His presence with us"

Well, what are 'friends' means to you? Someone you can share secrets? Someone that will do everything for you? Someone who is nice to chat with? Or rather someone who loves you...

Do you that, Jesus, is your bestest FRIEND? *Well, make Jesus your bestie today*

But although we have Jesus as our best buddy, we still need other friends to accompany us... Why?

"But for Adam, no suitable helper was found. So the Lord God caused the man to fell into deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he too one of the man's ribs and close up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib He had taken out of the man, and He brought her to the man"(Genesis 2:21)

See, God did not just want to create Adam... because He thinks that Adam needed a helper. Just like when we need our friends to tell us when and what is happening.. or maybe, for me in the case, i always looses my time, so i have Jeremy to remind me.. *grins*

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 )

Yeap, thatz what God tells us.. So friends are still important, eventhough they can dissapoint you many times.. but keep in mind that, if they do... always look to Jesus, cos He's the one and only friend that loves you forever and ever.. and He's the one that is always keeping you warm..

Don't believe? Try to ask Jesus to be your best friend.. Surely, i can guarantee, you'll be amaze!

" Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friend" (John 15:13)

" The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? " (Heb13:6)

Ok, i think time to talk about what you all have been waiting for..!!!! PICTURES *yay*

As usual, we gather at 2pm after lunch..

Because is considered as a big day... We did some preparations..before everything. Like the games and the worship team.

For the very first time ever since i join MYF, this was the largest group .. i've ever attended (Thank God and Praise Him, that He has make today a wonderful day)

Last person..kena 'punishment' Aww.. So sad.. But since is friendster day .. a day to show the importance of friends, yeap... He and his friend are punish gather gather laaa~ (Just for the fun)



After the game, we slow intro ourselves and our names to those who are new.... "HI EVERYONE" *grins*


Ofcos, we will never forget to sing to our Lord! Praise and worship started after the ice breaker.. The songs are great.. And MEL did a good job. (Is her first time) *clap clap*

After praise and worship, games start! And whoaaa, we prepared 5 games on that day.. for everyone to enjoy... *wooooo* Thatz alot! And, thatz fun!

Sarah explaining the game called the 'chopstick' but couldn find chopstick so we switched to 'pencil' game.. *smile*

After that, we quickly moved on to our second game... (We're actually short of time.. and we do not wanna end so late) The next game is, 'United V Peel'!

And so on, after that game, we moved on to the next ' Snap the Bread with Ur Face '

After that, we moved on to the next game... Yeap, this is the time where all the ballons for! (Sorry didn manage to catch any pic of that.. cos is very messy) All of the people are suppose to get in pairs and one blindfolded... and the other have to bring the 'blind' one to step as many ballons and possible.. (We have ten pairs... moving around man.. *whoa*)

And finally, our last game of the day... Muahahaha! Here come 'Stum the Stars' .. One person have to act for their group to guess what is it...

Yay, we all have fun with the games and everything.... It was indeed a super fun day... Jeremy says, we have a little tooo much fun... *grins* Everyone enjoyed.. ! Well, time flies when we're having fun... awwww, is almost the end of the day edy..

But we wont leave our guess without anything... After all the games and such, we rest and had a short fellowship time.. Like i say, we don't want our friends to return home without a gift from us.. Da Rong has special made a card for all of us.. and for all our friends to signed on, write some comments or wishes for our friend.. ( to show how much we appreciate them) *awww*

Everyone busy signing for each other... and what-la Joee.. feeling tired already.. *grins*

After that we have a short prize giving session..for the most outstanding pairs.. Leslie gave ang pau worr... *chun* I want - i want!

Anyway, thatz about it laa~ Everyone feeling tired after the games and running around edy.. Is time to go home and rest.. There we ended our myf with a prayer.. And everyone says 'bye-bye'.. Hope to see you guys soon!!!!

"Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue in righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of pure heart " ( II Timothy 2:22)

Do you want to be with Jesus?

How much do you know your faith in Christ? Are you walking with him..? Or you 'think' you are?

When we do things... do we really doing what that serves God's will? Or that, we are doing things just for the sake of doing it? To be honest, alot of times, i faced this question too~ I couldn't differentiate..between whether im serving God and only Him, or that im doing it for the sake that everyone is doing it..!




Although, i'm still abit blur about that, but Jesus has guide me.. Even when i have no idea what issit, i wanted to do something for God, the spirit will tell me which and what i shud do that will make God happy *smile* (sometimes i drifted away... But, when your heart goes back to God and God knows every little things in our hearts)





So are you ready to serve God with all your heart?







Pastor was preaching about some climbing up the ladder, which i think is pretty important for us youngsters to know too~ As now, we are still in school and colleges... and we are considered as preparing for our future or more like making a road out to a life that we wanted... This could be considered as climbing the 'society' ladder..

As you see, 'society' ladder is created by men... HUMAN, but not God. God never create such things.. As we go on searching for what we wanted in the world, later on... we tend to live a worldly life and no longer in God's way... Because we are working harder for a better days in our life... We are climbing the ladder higher and higher each step... But what happens eventhough you reach the top? Will u actually get what you wanted? You can have everything in the world, but you DO NOT have GOD in you.. Up in the highest ladder, there lay the 'GOD's Judgement' ....





" the time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried. In hell where he was torment , he looked up and saw Abraham faraway with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, ' Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tougue, becos i am in agony in this fire. But Abraham replied ' Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony...." (Luke 16: 22-24)






It doesn matter where you come from, but as long as you find where you belong and who you belong too~ Even a beggar could received the kingdom of God. Why? Becos, he lives in Christ way... He might suffer alot..during his times, but when he has Jesus with him... although he still carry burdens.. but he gained eternal life.. While for the people who have everything..but yet rejected the blessings of God and ignorance.. There, Jesus will say ' I don't know you'.


You belong to Jesus, you belong to the Father in Heaven.... That is what you should know and always paste it in your heart where ever you go...




" God created man in his own in his own image, in the image of God, He created him; male and female he created "




God breathe his life into Adam, and so he was formed... and then from Adam, He created Eve... And yes, we belonged to God... Chop with His name since the day we are in our mother's womb... And Jesus is here to bring us back to God! ( dun reject God, but get to know Him)







Even when you have a very sad pass, very upsetting ones, dissapointed... But Jesus says " Come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for i am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light ". ( Matt 11:28-29)






Yeap, Jesus is here to set us free... No matter who you are, Jesus saved you... on the cross He was crucified, and his blood shed, cleanses all our sins... How grateful it is that such person would do that for you? Even our closest members will think twice.. But God did not, and He sent His one and only Son to save us.. Why? By the power of His love!





So, take up the cross and follow Jesus now!






Roll away, roll away, roll away~
Every burden of my heart, roll away...

Friendster day was FUN...! THANK YOU! to everyone who has helped out..!!

But sadly....

I had no time to share wat i wanted to say cuz of time constraints...

The title of my sharing is:

Who's Ur Best Friend..??

So? Who's your best fren?

Mei Zhi? Mel? May? Wee Kiat? Leslie? Sarah? Me?

Well.. If your best friend is a human being...

You'll be disappointed to know that friends can disappoint us..

Why?

As we all know, we are humans.. And humans makes mistakes.. And sometimes when people depends on us, we sometimes tend to make them feel disappointed because although we can be a really reliable person, we cant be reliable all the time..

Let me give u a situation as an example yaaa..

I am really close to my sister Sarah..

Run to her when i have probs..

She's my best friend..

But then...

My sister started to drift away from me,

she started to have another best friend edi..

She now has Alvin as her best fren...!

And then when i needed her friendship in my most desperate moments for a friend,

she wasnt there for me..!

So sad right?? haha..

Although the example i've given is actually a kinda a ridiculous example, the bottom line is this:

I'm not trying to say that from now onwards you dont have any friends anymore..

But I'm just trying to say that the bestest friend a person can have is not a human,

It's JESUS...!!!!!!!!!!!

JESUS?? How Can He Be My Best Friend??

Simple!

Give your life to Jesus, and He'll be ur best friend!!

A friend that can be depended 100%,

anytime, anywhere, anyhow!!

Take at look at this verse:

Deuteronomy 31:6
6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

You see the words? NEVER leave you and NEVER forsake you!!

Not: maybe He wont leave u nor forsake you...!

It is NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU U KNOW..!!!

So, if ur best friend isnt Jesus, i wanna intro to you now Jesus!

Ask Him to be ur best friend today!

Once You got to know Him,

I guarantee that You'll NEVER REGRET HAVIN JESUS AS UR BEZ FREN!!

YOU NEVER TRY, U'LL NEVER KNOW!

Jesus Never Fails Us

Heyo.. Everyone!!

How's your day? *grins*

First, I'm feeling guilty now...becos i couldn't get any of my friend to come for tomorrow's 'friendster day'. Well, although, they are young adults have car and such, but still they couldn make it.. I'm sorry fellows! But i do pray that tomorrow will still be a fun day.... (we prepared quite alot of stuffs)

Anyway, although i couldn grab my friends to come,.. I did some evangelism with one of my friends that I invited. Well, I'm happy that God is there to guide me on what to say..

I was shocked to hear my friend was attending church lately... I never know about that the day i know him... and now...he's into God! 'Rejoice in the name of the Lord'

I was inviting him to come and was telling about what's up on tomorrow's plan, suddenly he ask me to share some testimony about God and why I have faith in Him... Ofcos, when i get the chance like this, i would loveeee explaining everything.. And then he asked about the 'trinity'... It was not easy for me talking to him, as i have not study the bible thoroughly...and i'm just telling him according to my own understanding... *Praise God* He led me thru everything.... *phew*

'Jesus left that place and went to the vicinity of Tyre. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it; yet he could not keep his presence secret'. (Mark 7:24)

Jesus is everywhere in our presence.. and you'll know it when He's here.

My friend was suppose to attend church today... But he 'ponteng lah'.. The wonders is that, although he misses the church service, yet God was there to speak to him.. (it happens to us most of the time rite? ) God spoke to us in many different ways...and most importantly, he never fail to speak to us.

' The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance of his tent in the heat of the day. Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. ' ( Genesis 18:1-2)

God knows everything in our hearts even before we tell him. My friends suddenly asked me about the 'trinity' and he told me that he has been wondering about this a long time ago after i have shared what i understand..

' And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him ' (Matthew 6: 7-8)

And thats all that happen to me...in just 30mins! Sharing doesn need to be that long, as long as u let the spirit guide you.. Although, i totally have the least understanding on the bible ... and am still knowing about God more.. But if u let the spirit leads you...

' do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say ' ( Luke 12: 12)

Jesus is coming sooner that we thought, and many people out there does not know about God or ignoring the presence of the Lord... We as christians are warriors/ soldiers of God to save as many people as we could...

" No ones lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead he puts it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light ". (Luke 11:33)

The light is our body in christ.. And when we have Christ, we should shine with Jesus and let everyone see how beautiful the light Jesus has given to us..

So what are you waiting for? Never be afraid to share about God whether they like it or not.. whether they think that you're annoying... whether they think you're uninteresting... or whether they think differently.... One day, they'll come to know about it.. And when they do, you can see that God is making miracles in them.

I've heard before, evangelism is like planting a small little seed on the ground.. When you put it in the soil, it might seems to be nothing at all. The small little seed cant even catch your eye.. But plants needs water and sunshine.. Praying everyday and talking to God, is like showering your seed and making it grow... It might take a while to grow - patience is the key. And one day, when you return to see it, the seed has turn into a beautiful flower blooming like you've never seen before..

( well, I forgot where i heard this from, either is from the bible... or that someone told me that) But anyway, i did get to my point..

Jesus wants us to be with Him...and the Father. And He wants us to know about Him, and when He comes, He can take us home.. our beautiful home far beyond anything, prepared by Him.

" I have longed to gather your children together " ( Luke 13: 34)

" Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord "
